I was going to buy 18-200mm for my nikon due to the All-In-One feature.
This is my first DSLR camera, and being from Point-And-Shoot mentality, I want a lens that can cover everything. Well, at least, almost.
But after I consulted with some expert in photography, I ended bought Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8
And never regret ever since. 18-200 is slow since the aperture are variable. For zoom lens, slow is a no-no especially if you often use it handheld.

For credit card wise, I agree with you. Spend within budget. I took 12 months free interest plan when I bought those. Happy shooting! :)</description>
