Relax and unwind! That’s weekend indeed… I can’t remember when was the last time I read a newspaper sitting on our couch on this lovely weekend morning… 
Anyway, one thing that keep me busy was reading the issues on zimmer durom cup.
As I recall I stumbled this news before on the Internet where Zimmer holdings removed its durom cup hip replacement component from the U.S. market. Their decision came up after complain from a surgeon that there was a failure on the device. And that said patients need to undergo replacement surgery. … Oh uh, poor patients as they will undergo another operation and most likely will spend money for the treatment. I believe it’s just proper to file a complain against the company responsible. Good thing there’s a lawsuit representing on behalf of the patient and that they can investigate the background of the failure. Searching more about this topic, I learned that there’s more zimmer durom cup types represented. Though it talks about the same defective product, it focuses on various types of failures.
Well, interesting topic and a good learning for this weekend.
