With a variety of new camera in the market today in particular DSLR, who wouldn’t want to upgrade isn’t? We’re actually drooling with the new models especially they have the new features that we wanted for a nice capturing moment. Though I believe taking shots still depends on how the photographer does it but having the perfect gadget makes it pretty great. Right now we own a Canon EOS30D model, which for me is good enough to learn basic photography if you really want to be a professional photographers or even if you’re just a photo enthusiasts. However, the husband wanted to upgrade to a more versatile camera, which enhance every facet of the photographic process, from still images to video. And that model is the Canon EOS7D.
We’re able to read more reviews about this camera and even received feedback from friends who have it. Definitely a great one and what makes us more thrilled is the video feature that’s part of it. Here are the key features of this Canon EOS7D:
Key features:
* 18MP APS-C CMOS sensor
* 8 frames per second continuous shooting
* 1080p HD video recording with manual controls
* 3.0 inch Clear View II LCD screen with 920,000 dots
* 19-point AF system (all cross-type)
* 1.0x magnification and 100% coverage viewfinder
* Wireless flash control
* Environmental sealing
This is actually the same camera we’re wishing for the last time I made a post about our desire to buy a new DSLR. Well, we didn’t buy it yet due to budget constraint. The husband suggested if we apply for payday loans, then we can definitely grab this new toy. It’s a nice option indeed since its like you’re paying the item in installment basis. In fact the loan wouldn’t be for the whole amount of the item since the old camera will be sold first. So the proceeds plus the loan amount will use to buy this new toy, hehe. Great idea huh!
Well, let’s see if the loan will be approved otherwise this want need to wait or if we have the budget then we’ll definitely go for this. I hope by that time there will be a sale or the item on reduced price…
We went to the mall last Friday and I was surprised with the big crowd. The reason being was the sale that’s on going for the whole weekend. Good thing though, they have proper crowd control and so there was a smooth flow of the people.
Large crowd is indeed what to expect during holidays especially if there’s a mall wide sale. And a careful planning is important otherwise poor crowd management can lead to disaster. With our visit at the mall last time, they used chrome stanchions with velvet rope at the cashier line. Then for areas in private, they have retractable belt barricades. As I look at it, the management designed and carefully planned the layout of the venue with proper routes as they’re expecting a big crowd.
Well, it’s just the start of the holiday sale. I’m sure for the coming weeks, it will be more crowded. Take extra care everyone.
I thought I’m done but I found lots of photos for 2009 to backup and it’s all sitting on my pc hard disk. I wanted to have all of these transfer to our EHD to make room for holiday photos. But I think I have to clean registry on my pc as it’s going on slower mode, HA!
Good thing I found free registry cleaner to download so I have to do that first before proceeding with my photo works. If you’re running on Windows, they have windows registry cleaner and even xp registry cleaner. Don’t wait till your system crashed!
As for me, I can’t bear those lots of errors on the computer plus I wanted my pc work fast… haha!

My ultimate wish for Chrsitmas is a new digital camera.
I’ve been itching to buy a new one since mid of this year but always postponed due to other expenses. Though I can use my credit card for purchases, I’m trying to resists that idea to ascertain a positive and improve credit position for more important use later on.
I’m actually thinking of giving up my credit card but on a second thought I need it for some other cases. So I just have to control using it. I know there are credit repair services that actually help people recover and assist them if they need to get housing, car loans, etc… I haven’t tried this type of service yet but from the testimonies who was able to repair credit, everything was fixed and was able to avail of loans again. I’m sure this is a big relief if you have a bad credit. For now, I will just wait and who knows my Santa might give my wish this coming Christmas, otherwise need to save to get that baby… haha!
You’re done shopping for the holidays? Me already started but then I thought of buying another gift for the big guy. I’m actually running out of ideas but when I stopped by at Zappos online store, I found lots of holiday gifts for him.
I remember few months back, the big guy was planning to buy boxers, and when I saw Diesel’s underwear collection I thought this would make a nice gift for him. And while at the store, I’m drooling with lots of eyecandies for women’s shoes, clothing and handbags, HA! …. Well, few more weeks and black Friday is coming… sure a lot of sales and must take advantage of that. A big steal for almost all items… I guess a perfect time for buying holiday gifts…
Aside from his hot wheels cars, my son was interested on playing football. In fact, we enrolled him for Saturday classes as one of his extra-curricular activities. At first, I’m having second thought if I’m going to allow him but then since he like the game and kept on bugging me, we let him try it.
They just started last week and I’m sure later on they will be required to wear the right gear for football players and of course proper footwear like one of these football cleats. I guess I need a handy guide once we need to prepare all this stuff…
Though I know this will be additional expense, I’m a bit excited for my little boy since this is his first time on such game. Hmm… sounds like a lot of photos to keep from this event, hehe.

Photo taken using iphone.
The first time we saw this at the mall was 2 months ago. I was planning to buy a Panasonic LX3 camera but when we saw this there was a bit change of plan. Hence, preference of buying the LX3 was postponed and I’m not sure if it’s going to push through, LOL! But that doesn’t mean we’re getting that Olympus. We’re still reading reviews and looking at sample shots.
If you’re interested you can may read the In-depth review of Olympus Pen E-P1.
Since I love taking pictures, I joined this project to enhance my photography and learn more of the different techniques…
hopefully, at the end of 2008 I have improvement on taking “good” pictures, hehe…
Right now, I didn’t start yet my photoblog but you can find my pictures at my Flickr.
